About AI cons
AI or Not?
Some say - the human AI images look completely dead in the eyes. For me - this is not always obvious - especially when the Ai image is smiling or trying to affect warm in the eyes. We need a law that requires AI pics and video to be stamped with 'Made with AI'. But government laws are still way behind Ai development. By the time they have spent 3 months discussing a law - a new family of Ai tools are already out.
When you hear AI, you have to trust your ears, because your eyes can no longer tell the difference, no matter what some may assert to the contrary. Pretty soon, possibly within a year, perhaps ALL images & video clips, adverts, films, TV programmes, news etc will be generated by AI; or have a huge chunk of the output Ai generated.
It's hard to rely on your own judgement as to whether a production is AI or not. There are (AI) tools which can help you. For instance Truthscan or Turnitin are used in colleges.
The more important thing is, on sites such as youtube and tik tok, AI fake video is being allowed to take over as it makes money. This is forcing out the real people's channels.
AI is becoming the problem it was always predicted to be, but for some businesses it is the boon they have been waiting for. They can now fire 80% of their staff.
Several tools and methods are available to distinguish between human-written and AI-generated content, focusing on analyzing text for patterns like predictability (perplexity) and sentence-length variation (burstiness).
Here are the top tools, categorized by their primary use.
